I just saw that I haven't posted anything for 2 years. I still come to DA quite a bit, but I just don't upload anything or use this as a blog. Mostly just seeing if there are any cool ideas, stock art, photoshop stuff... Well... I finally won gold at the ADDY's this year. 2 Golds and 3 Silvers... It felt like it has taken forever! So far my total awards count is: 2 Golds and 6 Silvers in the ADDY awards. And this past year I also won a Silver award in the International Davey Awards. So I'm starting to finally feel like I'm getting in the grove of things... 7 years into my career! I've also started my own business, Pyro Advertising. you can check the site out at [link]

Oh... my only tip for you younger artists is... if you're going to stay in design, stop stealing art. A couple weeks ago I was on here to get some photoshop brushes (which the person had out there free to use, -without providing feedback, or recognition -you guys should check for that) But as I used the brushes, I started to recognize a watermark in them that was from a stock photography/vector/image site... needless to say I deleted them all... Just think of the other artist who is trying to make a living on their creative ideas before stealing their work... And I'm not talking about in a Picasso way.

Hey there, thanks so much for the lovely comment. And yes, I sometimes use filters but usually it's a standard Photoshop filter and no I can't think of one I couldn't live without, just gimme Photoshop, a decent camera and maybe Bryce5 :) (Smile) .

Ah, yes your welcome. Some people just don't appreciate and perceive art the way we do.

Anyhow, I was browsing through 500 collections of logo here in DA. Your logo is definately something among the few which stands out. I was looking for inspiration and ideas in doing a logo for a non-profitable buddist youth society and another logo for a friend of mine with his school assignment dealing with telco.

PS: Oh I think all people who visits this page would read your journal.

Thanks for dropping by and checking out my recent poster.

You are right, I have also seen a lot of this two tone grungy stuff. Not sure if I like it, but it means I can loosen up a bit and not oworry too much about placement etc. So from that respect, I hope it lasts.

I like the look of your vector stuff, very clean and effective.

Thanks for the comment on my 'what' flash piece.
Yeh it was created using just rollovers and movie clips and stuff. I don't really know anything about actionscripting so I use different methods to create effects. If there's anymore you need to know just ask. Thanks again

don't you have to sleep to have a dream spyed??? I don't sleep you damn spammer!

I like the color red better but I would choose the blue pill if you were asking (and did). then looked at the red one and was pissed that I read that whole damn thing.

oh and that tag game was over... so I didn't pass it on...
